We were re decorating our lounge and decided to instal acoustic wood panelling on one of the walls, it is very easy to instal, however it was a bit testing fitting it around the fireplace, but we managed it. The finished wall looks stunning & we are really pleased with it.

First of all these wall panels look fantastic and are of high quality. I was apprehensive at first as I don't really do much DIY, but wanted to give it a try. I watched a few video online on how to cut them, and then successful trimmed them down to then size of the wall I wanted to cover. From there, they were very easy to install on plasterboard, and the black screws are not visible against the black backing. Delivery was good, with the couriers phoning to arrange a timeslot and then contacting on the day to confirm the time. 5 stars, would recommend!

I ordered these panels because they provide the look we were looking for and they will last the test of time, we were able to create a space that is both comfortable and practical, it is a space that we will use continuously the effect of the panels is excellent. These are fantastic! I love the grey background - it isn’t overpowering compared to the black ones. Our installer had no issue either cutting or attaching the panels to the wall- a first for them apparently as often wood chips or pulls from the backing material.

Upgrade to the small bedroom. Panels arrived swiftly. Long wall framed and sound insulated. Drywall screws through felt for fixing. Head board wall panels and end piece glued directly to wall with OB1. Everything kept plumb with a laser cross level. LED strips as head board feature. It looks great and the room sounds like a control room which is perfect for audio. Excellent product, very smart.

I always recommend Akupanel slat panels, good quality and covered all 3 sides. Yes we did have some issues with delivery delays and communication but this was the first time in a long time. Oliver managed to sort this out and get my items a few days before the full build and it came out incredible.

Excellent glue - absolutely perfect for the job
These charcoal grey panels instantly turn a pain wall into something you want to show off. They are genuinely glamourous. The black wood adds texture and depth without being to loud. My living area was transformed to sexy and stylish overnight. The sound is also greatly improved, adding a cinema type feel. Honestly well priced - you’d expect it to be more for this quality. My brother and I installed it, and although he is an architect, so competent with DIY projects is was straight forward to install. I am so delighted with it.
Run my own joinery firm and wanted to fit these in my own house . Didn’t like the black inserts and found these on line . Great service quality product.

Easy to cut, easy to screw and glue - looks fantastic.
Recently ordered to complete a holiday home to a high spec, the results speak for themselves. Quality board and slats are veneered on 3 sides, including strong staples pin at close spacing for strong board. We've already ordered the walnut for the next job.
Excellent quality panels with all round veneered slats which really stand out and make all the difference. Very easy to cut, the backing felt is a much better quality than your competitors, this cuts better and gives a very clean cut. The adhesive supplied is also a better quality, and the best bit of all is that your range is more competitively priced.
The finished look is everything I hoped for, instagrab, a sharp Stanley knife and a fine tooth carpenter saw all had a part to play. There's no lip of felt backing around the edge of the tiles so if the wall is light, painting it black, or bordering the tiles with a sharpie when fitted ensures no colour peeking through.

Very easy to install. Cut the pieces to size and fitted with ease. The panels slotted together and look great. I used the glue and this was more than sufficient to stick the panels to the wall. Very happy and had lots of compliments on my dining room wall.

Love the product. It looks very stylish and sturdy. The only slight negative is that I had to buy much taller boards than I needed in order to get them delivered in 3 to 5 days. This made them much more expensive than they needed to be. The size that I originally ordered was not in stock and there was no delivery date apparently free delivery was stated on the webpage which means it can be delivered at any time. I had a contract awaiting to install them. I could not wait. Having said all that I’m very pleased with the finish and the company were very reactive to my problem and help me solve it even though it costed me much more money and I have quite a bit of wastage.

Had a selection of panel samples sent through before deciding on our purchase of Smoked Oak, delivered quickly to hep us compare with other suppliers. Ultimately settled on these panels because of the 3-sided finish, and purchased 6 panels. Delivery was a little problematic, only because they wanted to deliver the next day and we were not prepared, so had to defer until back from holiday, and the delivery company were very accommodating to fit us in, especially considering they were coming from Manchester area down to London. On arrival there were several marks on the panels, but I guess to be expected, and our design meant we were able to work around them without any major loss of material. Really pleased with the final result, especially considering our design incorporated multiple (21) pieces to fit around our wall units rather than running behind them. This goes to prove how well built the panels are as each panel was cut multiple times without any breakage. Overall we are really pleased with the outcome and will be buying more panels when we move on to the next room.

With ChatGPT we made a proposal for our diner and we fall in love with it. I started my research about cheap vs more expensive accoustic panels. I had to accept the fact, that 3-sided real veneer will be more expensive. I found Akuwoodpanel and ordered some samples. I received them very fast and nicely packed. We picked the type we like and made the order. I was not really happy for paying extra for delivery, but when the guy came, I didnt regret it. He made his way from Manchester all the way down to London. I was worried the panels will be delivered damaged, but to my surprise they were nicely packed even with the plastic corner protectors. The acoustics in the diner changed right after the fit test. I am looking forward to installing them soon.
Really pleased with the panels. I needed panels that were finished on the front and sides as I installed them on a staircase so were visible from all angles. Prompt delivery and well packaged. Panels were fairly easy to cut, (I personally found a very fine jigsaw blade worked the best). I have no hesitation in recommending this product.
