Assembly with Screws

Step 1: Preparation

Prepare the Surface:

  • Ensure the surface (wall or fence) is clean, smooth, and solid. Remove dirt, loose materials, and repair any damage.
  • Level the surface if necessary.

Measure and Plan:

  • Measure the height and width of the area for panel installation.
  • Plan the panel layout for even spacing. Create a sketch to avoid errors and ensure an aesthetically pleasing finish.

Step 2: Installing the Outdoor Panels

Placing the First Panel:

  • Start from the bottom, placing the first panel against the wall or fence. Ensure the groove side faces inward.
  • Leave a gap of at least 10 mm between the panel and the ground for ventilation and drainage.
  • Use self-drilling screws to secure the panel to the surface. Pre-drilling is recommended to prevent damage.

Securing the Following Panels:

  • Horizontal Placement: Place the next panel horizontally beside the first.
  • Vertical Placement: Position the next panel above the first.

Repeat:

  • Continue until the entire area is covered.
  • Ensure panels fit closely with only prescribed expansion gaps.

Step 3: Finishing Corners and End Pieces

Finishing Corners:

  • Use L-shaped corner profiles to finish outer corners. Position the profile and secure it with self-drilling screws.
  • Ensure the profile aligns neatly with the panels for a clean finish.

Securing End Pieces:

  • Around windows and doors, use fascia boards. Cut to size and attach them to the surface with construction adhesive.
  • Leave an 8 mm gap between panels and surrounding structures to allow for expansion and contraction.

Step 4: Inspection and Final Touches

Check Installation:

  • Ensure all panels are firmly secured with sufficient ventilation gaps.
  • Check that all screws are tight and panels are aligned.

Cleaning:

  • Clean panels to remove dirt and dust using a soft brush or cloth.

Safety and Maintenance

  • Safety: Always wear protective equipment such as gloves and safety glasses during installation.
  • Maintenance: Composite outdoor panels are low-maintenance. Clean them regularly with water and a soft brush to remove dirt and stains.
