Refund policy

At Aku Woodpanel, we want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. However, if you change your mind, you are entitled to cancel your order under the terms of our return policy below.

Your Right to Cancel

You have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 calendar days from the day on which you, or a third party indicated by you (excluding the carrier), receive physical possession of the goods.

To exercise your right to cancel, please notify us clearly in writing via email to info@akuwoodpanel.uk, stating your order number and intention to return. You may also send a letter to:

To meet the cancellation deadline, your message must be sent before the 14-day period has expired.

What Will Be Refunded

If you cancel and return the goods, we will refund the full amount of the goods only Shipping charges are non-refundable — even if the original shipping was discounted or free.

We will process your refund within 14 days of either:

  • Receiving the returned goods, or
  • Receiving proof that you’ve sent the goods back, whichever is earlier.

Refunds are made using the same payment method used for the original purchase, unless otherwise agreed.

Return Conditions

  • You must return the goods no later than 14 days from the date you informed us of the cancellation.
  • Items must be in unused, resellable condition, and include all original packaging.
  • You are responsible for arranging and paying for the return shipping.

Important Notes

  • We do not offer a collection or pick-up service for returned items.
    The customer is fully responsible for returning the goods to our warehouse.

  • We are not liable for any damage, delay or loss during return transit.
    We strongly advise using a tracked and insured courier service.

  • If goods arrive back damaged or used, we reserve the right to deduct from the refund based on diminished value.

Non-Returnable Items

We do not accept returns on:

  • Custom-cut or made-to-order items
  • Goods damaged due to misuse or incorrect installation
  • Opened adhesive products (if hygiene seal is broken)
